Best way to stop overpopulation, especially by the stupid…

Eliminate all child welfare programs, get rid of the world food program. Stop providing free medical services to children. Make the parents pay for their own kids. If they can’t, no kids for them.

amusing, but completely wrong. the problem is NOT overpolulation. the more people there are, the more space and resources are made.. cities are seemingly packed, but most folk have spacious apartments, there are parks and boulevards. more people means the vast unpopulated areas of forest and desert can be turned into living space or farmland. a termite nest, when it’s small, has a few hundred insects packed in. when it’s big and has millions, it’s mostly empty – and full of stored food.

  9. #9 by TurpisHaereticus at March 8th, 2010

Where do you live? The UK? Hardly typical of World demographics.

“most folk have spacious apartments”? Really? Says who? How ignorant can a person possibly be?
Go to Africa or Asia and look for your supposed plentiful “spacious apartments”. Go to Mexico City or Calcutta & look for your ‘termite nest” that has only a ‘few hundred insects packed in”. Go to the favelas of Rio De Janeiro and see how long you can survive with mulitple people sleeping in one bed, or worse yet, on the streets.

you’re right, Sir, but this crowding is due to poverty, not lack of space. The people are packed together because the “termite nest” of a well-designed and spacious city is out of their economic reach. So it’s not a problem caused by lack of space, but by lack of cash. Ultimately the space and resources are there, but unfortunately 5% of the population have 99% of the wealth. Termites aren’t as selfish.

  11. #11 by TurpisHaereticus at March 15th, 2010

I do agree with you on the poverty thing. Ignorance, inequity, and greed are root causes of suffering.

    Overpopulation is NOT a problem.
Do you have brain damage or did you just read the bible?

Overconsumption by rich nations is more of a problem than overpopulation in less industrialized nations, so the impact of more people in the rich countries that consume the world’s resource is far greater than in countries where people don’t have the lifestyle of computers, cars, and air conditioning that’s taken for granted in rich countries.

    not the solution.

Who cares about environmentalism? I’m disappointed he takes this crap seriously.

  17. #17 by LawlingProductions at July 3rd, 2010

@lordpoppycock I believe his rant is more against the news than it really is about the environment, he’s just using that argument to prove his point.

Hope he’s joking, if not, this is kind of sad. Just want to remember this asshole has once been a “stupid” baby. He’s now a stupid grown up!

My six pack holders? Fuck that, I’m frugal enough to buy twelve packs. One day I’ll lose my pride and I will start buying 30 packs.

Shame to see Stanhope has been had by the Nazi Eugenics agenda aka the environmental movement

  21. #21 by wonderwhaz797 at December 9th, 2010

@servisair1964 Huh? The problem is overpopulation. If you develop every square inch of the earth, then where’s the space. Don’t argue against an obvious truth. Cities are packed, not just seemingly, and there is the sound of traffic noise almost everywhere you go. Crowding is due to poverty??? And where are these spacious well designed cities? On planet Utopia? Do you also think that the sun isn’t bright?
I can’t stand people who are revisionists of obvious facts. What for, to get attention?

  22. #22 by servisair1964 at December 13th, 2010

The entire population on earth could fit in Australia with enough land to feed everyone. Cities are fine if you live in a nice apartment overlooking central park. No utopia required, just (!) a redistribution of resources. NB: cars are quiet compared to horse-drawn carts

This is too true, we are dangerously overpopulated and its not healthy to keep on reproducing, at this rate the earth population grow 3 times what is is in 30 years if we keep this up, Having kids Isn’t smart nor beneficial, I know some friend who r having a baby and they r both very young. it proves that the world just fucks without a disregard for the number of people we have to feed, cloth, provide money and a DECNET standard of living but we wont coz the douchebags a knocking up women
