DIY Homemade 12V to 48V DC-DC Converter Solar Panel Battery Electric Bike eBike Charger PC Board


This circuit converts 12V DC from solar panel and battery storage system and produces 48V DC (60V) to charger the battery pack in my DAYMAK Austin electric bike. Faster charge than OEM charger. Great for someone driving an RV from campground to campground with an e bike on the back for short trips once they get to their destination.     did u build this, i need to do something like this for my power supply im building
    i would like to turn 8 volts 320 A to 24 or and 36 v for experimenting and electrolysis rigs

    Yes I designed the circuit and made up a board layout. Etched and drilled the PC board and assembled the complete unit.

    How many amps do you want it to output at 24 to 36 volts??

    Do you use the TL494 PWM driver?

    Yes the TL494 drives four mosfets. cool eh!

    You’re going to need a huge solar panel if you’re going to be drawing 10-11 amps from 12 volts. That’s between 120-132 watts.
