How to Make a Solar Cell- Make Solar Cell The above link will take you to a website where you can see not only how to make homemade solar cells at home but also how to make entire solar panels that you can use to power your home. If you want to know how to make solar cells at your home, here are the instructions. I have found these instructions at the link above to be the best 50 bucks I have spent yet. I have saved literally thousands on what I have learned on how to make my own solar cells and solar panels …

    thank you for the video!!!

Your welcome. I hope you can try this little experiment at home in making your own solar cell.

it can generate up to 50 amp, good.. however, in terms of volts? how much it can generate? another can i use copper wire(coil) instead of copper sheet(due to unavailability)? but to sum up. good video?

Well this kind of thing is really only good for experimentation, and not to actually try to power something, other than a small light bulb maybe, or led light. There are variations you can use with copper wire as well, so yes the theory also applies there.

ok thx… one more question! did u try testing it on a volt meter? jeje sry if im too pussy, cause i liked it..

Now that is how to make a video. Great Job!

thnx , i’ll try to do it 😀

can anyone tell me,is this solar cell a semiconductor cell which the plate will not ionised and vanished OR is it a electrochamical cell which the plates will ionised and venished by time ??? thx

These is not a solar cell, its chemical batery, you can plug steel (iron better) and copper into a stupid pateto and get electricity.

  12. #12 by joshuaputra at July 29th, 2009

I was about to do this in the upcoming school science fair project

  13. #13 by joshuaputra at August 5th, 2009

hey, I’m doing this for the science fair.

  14. #14 by szilagyi05 at August 10th, 2009

You are right! It’ s a chemical batery!

  15. #15 by dodok001 at August 15th, 2009

yes it works, but you cant do anythig with this shit!! 50 micro ampere? it cant even light up an LED!

I like how this has nothing to do with the sun and more to do with buying a lot of copper sheets

I built my own solar panels which are powering half my 1500SF Home for under $100 using the plans at:

  18. #18 by lmusho at August 20th, 2009

you get more with foil and copper and no sun

  19. #19 by abmod01 at August 27th, 2009

I built my own Solar Panels that currently provide free electricity for my 1700 square foot home using the simple plans at:

hey dipshits… it’s called a battery, not a solar cell. Show me how to produce energy from the sun now…

  21. #21 by brutaka359 at October 25th, 2009

    chemical batery!

1 star for the slide show, but this is not a solar cell, so you are wasting our time. Show us something practical and we’ll rush to your web site for more. This is close to useless.
