That is why now people are producing their own energy thru wind, solar, and thermal…people who are wise are switching to theese types of new and renewable enerygys….the best part about it is you no longer have to pay for electricity, i mean why would you do that when the sun and plannet are providing you with it

I was amazed that a businessman from TEXAS was recently in ALBERTA, interested in WIND POWER.

The Calgary Transit C-Trains grid is wind power, and the Edmontonian Ross Dale coal power plant( provides much electricity for the North West America), has been decomissioned. yay!

I think it’s awesome and I love it, but I would sure as hell miss the bone rattling base a 454 stroked out to a 502 makes, when shooting a 100 shot of NOS to it….I guess I was born in the wrong era, the 1960’s are a time when big motor, cheap gas, and women made it fun. I bid you ado big blocks….and our grandchildren will know nothing of this type of fun…

Watch your skies! The govt is spraying chemtrails to hide your 10th planet, Nibiru.

This is the sign in the heavens warning of the war of Armageddon which will see Russia, China and the SCO destroy America on 10-10-09.

Russia has told us for 2 years they will nuke us over Iran and they have put the hardware in place to do it.

no emissions if you don’t count the coal fired power plant in your neighbor’s back yard….
i love electric cars, but the solution does not end there.

the power plants can also have electric motor systems worked into the power generation systems. Perhaps a diverse array of power sources can be used at a power plant to put energy into the power generators.
There are systems now that are able to distribute energy while also using surplus energy to power itself.

Useless In Real World, low range.

  9. #9 by thebearak at June 25th, 2009

Ok a record fopr 1/4 mile, what is the top end? And how many amps do you need to turn it over?

  12. #12 by FullMoonVideo at June 27th, 2009

ppl in Cali use roof top solar panels to charge their electric cars, it costs like $0.35cents a month.
Watch the video doc, “Who Killed The Electric Car”

love it, the killers in Dc wont let ga die easily, sickening to know we could do this decades ago

The Electric Kilocycle gets 10 seconds of fame here at 8:05 with an impressive 0-60 mph in 2 seconds! Wow!

I would like to start a drag class using one 12 volt starter and a very minimal chassis..skate board..or? 100 hundred yards?

  21. #21 by fakenphoney at June 30th, 2009

Whats the range for the White Zombie?

  22. #22 by gr8dalmuti at July 1st, 2009

Very cool car. But the news story doesn’t question what fuels are being burned to generate the electricity that charges the car. When you go there, you’ll probably find that a power grid charged car is not eliminating the pollution that is claimed be eliminated.

  23. #23 by bart84325 at July 1st, 2009

In what way do you not understand in what way evolution can manifest?

  24. #24 by angelofdeath1003848 at July 2nd, 2009

When the well to wheel (total energy uses and conversions) emissions of a gasoline and electric car are compared, even if all of the power to run an electric car comes from coal fired power plants, it only produces one fifth of the pollution as a gas car. Considering the entire power grid and not just coal, electric cars produce, on average, only 3% of the pollution that gas cars do. Way to go Zombie!
